PRE-RIDE CHECK

Here is a quick checklist of verifications to make before you set off on your Widescape WS250.

  • Check and validate that the fuel tank is full. The WS250 has an 8 liter fuel tank with a fuel consumption rate of 3 liters/hour at full throttle. In general, you are able to ride the WS250 for around 3 hours with a full tank of fuel. Plan to bring a fuel can if you expect to ride your WS250 for more than 3 hours.
  • Check the operation of the throttle control. When pushing the throttle control, it needs to release back to its initial position. Do not start your WS250 if the throttle does not release back.
  • Check the operation of the brake lever. When pushing the brake lever, it needs to release back to its initial position. Do not start your WS250 if the brake lever does not release back.
  • Turn the handlebars completely to the left and completely to the right to make sure there isn’t any excessive tension in the throttle cables and brake cables. There must always be some slack in the cables, even when the handlebars are completely turned to the left and the right.
