About the job
The Widescape team is looking for an Operations Coordinator with experience in global operations management and supply chain logistics. If you are looking for a new challenge while leveraging your expertise in rigorous monitoring with a team of passionate people, then this position is for you.
Role & responsabilities
Under the supervision of the General Director, the Operations Coordinator will establish production schedules in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers. He/she will ensure the needs and availability of consumer-ready products, sub-assembled products, as well as individual parts, according to stock levels previously determined at the global production planning. He/she will then be required to put in place a structure that will ensure the smooth operation of the company’s global production activities.
Tasks
  • Manage contracts with suppliers;
  • Plan and coordinate orders with suppliers, respecting deadlines and priorities;
  • Plan and coordinate the shipping schedule and ensure follow-ups;
  • Plan raw material requirements in the short and medium term according to the production plan;
  • Participate in the launch and closing of annual productions while taking into account the availability of raw materials and the capacity of each supplier;
  • Understand the structure of the products, from the complete assembly to the single parts, all the way through the sub-assemblies;
  • Perform various analyzes related to inventory management in order to configure the ERP system and improve inventory management;
  • Work closely with the various departments, engineering, sales and management of the company;
  • Create and publish a detailed production schedule for each of the internal departments as well as with suppliers;
  • Provide support to the customer service department for inventory management;
  • Perform computer entry of key performance indicators;
  • Define and support the implementation of the structure required for the management of the company’s global operations, according to industry best practices.
Required skills
  • College or university diploma related to the responsibilities of the position, or equivalent experience;
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of managing product nomenclatures and relevant computer systems (e.g. Office, Netsuite);
  • Bilingualism or very good written and oral level of English and French;
  • Excellent skills in data management and analysis;
  • Skills for written and verbal communication;
  • Leadership and decision-making ability;
  • Available to work non-regular hours from time to time (early morning or evenings);
  • Stress tolerance.

About the position
Widescape is looking for a Customer Service Representative that will oversee after-sale service with our network of retailers across Eastern Canada. If you are looking for a new and unique challenge in a thrilling environment and want to bring your professionalism and rigor to the team, then this position is for you.

Tasks

  • Follow up with Widescape retailers to ensure quality of service and resolve any issues that arise
  • Provide retailers with product availability information
  • Manage and process orders
  • Maintain a solid relationship with our retail network by managing questions and concerns with speed and professionalism
  • Respond by telephone to requests from retailers, when necessary
  • Provide technical advice to retailers
  • Provide technical and warranty service
  • Attend snowmobile events and represent the Widescape brand and product, as directed by the Sales Manager and the Events Manager.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of goods
  • Authorize and manage returns of defective products, warranties, etc.;
  • Contribute to the establishment of the customer service department
  • Review, structure and optimize Widescape’s B2B sales site

About the position

Widescape is looking for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator, passionate about content, marketing, and project management. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Lead, your mission will be to support the marketing team in its daily operations, all while being independent and managing your own projects.

Profile sought
